FastBuild Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms govern Free and Paid Plans offered for FastBuild.
They form part of the FastBuild Terms of Service.
If you purchase or activate a subscription, you agree to these Subscription Terms.
1. Plans
FastBuild may offer:
- Free Plans;
- Paid Plans;
- trial plans;
- promotional plans;
- add-ons;
- usage-based features;
- enterprise arrangements.
Available plans, features, limits, and prices may change from time to time.
The features available to an account are determined by the plan and entitlements assigned to the organization.
2. Free Plan
FastBuild may provide a Free Plan without subscription charges.
The Free Plan may have limits concerning:
- number of projects;
- users;
- storage;
- templates;
- reports;
- premium features;
- usage;
- support;
- other functionality.
We may change reasonable Free Plan limits prospectively.
Where practical, we will provide notice before a material reduction that significantly affects existing users.
FastBuild is not obligated to provide a Free Plan indefinitely.
3. Paid Plans
When Paid Plans are offered, the applicable checkout, pricing, order page, or written quotation will identify relevant terms such as:
- price;
- currency;
- billing interval;
- included features;
- usage limits;
- taxes;
- subscription period.
Mandatory non-government fees will not be intentionally hidden from an advertised subscription price.
Applicable sales or similar taxes may be added where required by law.
4. Subscription Authorization
The person purchasing a subscription represents that they are authorized to purchase it on behalf of the organization.
The purchasing organization is responsible for all authorized subscription charges.
5. Billing Cycle
A subscription may be billed monthly, annually, or according to another billing period displayed before purchase.
The subscription begins on the date identified during checkout or in the applicable order.
6. Automatic Renewal
Where a subscription is identified as automatically renewing, it will renew for successive billing periods until cancelled.
Before purchase, FastBuild will disclose that the subscription renews automatically.
The customer authorizes FastBuild or its payment provider to charge the applicable payment method for each renewal, including applicable taxes.
Automatic renewal does not apply where the checkout or written agreement expressly identifies the subscription as non-renewing.
7. Cancellation
An authorized organization owner or billing administrator may cancel an automatically renewing subscription through the available account or billing controls or by contacting FastBuild where self-service cancellation is not available.
Cancellation prevents future renewal.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law, cancellation does not immediately terminate access already paid for.
The account will normally retain paid access until the end of the current paid billing period.
8. No Artificial Cancellation Barriers
FastBuild will not intentionally require unnecessary or materially more difficult steps to cancel a subscription than were required to purchase it.
Account verification may be required for security before a subscription is cancelled or modified.
9. Refunds
Unless otherwise specified during purchase, in a written agreement, or required by law, subscription charges are non-refundable once a billing period has started.
FastBuild may issue refunds, service credits, or other remedies at its discretion in appropriate circumstances.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Trials
FastBuild may offer free or discounted trials.
Before a trial that automatically converts into a paid subscription begins, the applicable purchase interface will disclose:
- that the trial converts to a paid subscription;
- the applicable price;
- the billing cycle;
- when billing will begin;
- how to cancel.
A trial may be limited to one per customer, organization, payment method, or user.
11. Promotional Pricing
Promotions may be subject to additional eligibility requirements.
Unless stated otherwise:
- promotional pricing applies only for the stated promotional period;
- regular pricing applies afterward;
- promotions cannot be combined;
- promotions have no cash value.
12. Price Changes
FastBuild may change subscription prices prospectively.
Price changes will not retroactively change charges already paid for a completed or current prepaid period.
For automatically renewing subscriptions, we will provide reasonable advance notice of material price changes before the affected renewal where required or appropriate.
If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel before the affected renewal.
13. Taxes
Prices may exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Customers are responsible for taxes lawfully applicable to their purchase, except taxes assessed on FastBuild's own net income.
FastBuild may collect applicable GST, HST, PST, QST, VAT, or other taxes where legally required.
14. Payment Processing
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.
By providing payment information, you authorize:
- the applicable payment provider to process the payment; and
- FastBuild to instruct the provider to process authorized subscription charges.
Payment providers may impose their own terms and privacy policies.
FastBuild may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, billing information, and limited payment-related data from the processor.
15. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we may:
- notify the billing contact;
- retry the authorized payment method;
- request another payment method;
- temporarily restrict paid features;
- downgrade the account;
- suspend the subscription after reasonable notice.
We will not intentionally delete Customer Content merely because of a single failed payment without providing a reasonable opportunity to resolve the billing issue, unless security, fraud, legal, or other exceptional circumstances require otherwise.
16. Plan Upgrades
An authorized customer may upgrade its plan where available.
An upgrade may take effect immediately.
Where an upgrade takes effect mid-cycle, FastBuild may:
- charge a prorated amount;
- apply account credit;
- begin a new billing cycle;
as disclosed during the upgrade process.
17. Plan Downgrades
Downgrades normally take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise displayed during the downgrade process.
A downgrade may cause loss of access to:
- premium features;
- excess projects;
- advanced templates;
- reporting;
- premium tools;
- higher usage limits;
- other paid functionality.
FastBuild may preserve existing Customer Content while preventing creation or modification beyond the downgraded limits.
Customers are responsible for exporting information they may require before a downgrade.
18. Users and Usage Limits
Some plans may limit usage based on factors such as:
- number of users;
- active workers;
- projects;
- storage;
- feature usage;
- transactions;
- reports;
- templates;
- API usage.
Limits will be described in the plan information or applicable order where relevant.
Customers must not intentionally circumvent subscription limits by:
- sharing accounts;
- creating duplicate accounts;
- manipulating identities;
- bypassing technical restrictions;
- otherwise evading agreed usage limits.
19. Feature Entitlements
Purchasing a subscription makes subscribed features eligible for the organization.
Access by an individual user may still depend on that user's authorization and permissions.
A subscription does not automatically grant every user permission to access every enabled feature.
20. Add-ons
FastBuild may offer optional add-ons.
Add-ons may:
- require an active base subscription;
- have separate usage limits;
- use a separate billing cycle;
- renew independently;
- be subject to additional terms.
The applicable terms will be disclosed before purchase.
21. Enterprise Agreements
Enterprise customers may enter into a separate written agreement, order form, statement of work, or negotiated contract.
Where that agreement expressly conflicts with these Subscription Terms, the signed enterprise agreement controls for that customer.
22. Suspension for Non-Payment
FastBuild may suspend paid functionality for unpaid charges after reasonable notice.
Suspension does not cancel amounts already due.
If payment is subsequently completed, access may be restored subject to account status and data-retention limitations.
23. Termination
Termination of a FastBuild account automatically terminates associated subscriptions according to the applicable effective termination date.
Outstanding amounts incurred before termination remain payable.
24. Data After Subscription Expiration
When a Paid Plan expires or is cancelled, FastBuild may:
- downgrade the organization to a Free Plan where available;
- place the account into a restricted state;
- limit access to paid functionality;
- provide a period for export of Customer Content;
- eventually delete information under the FastBuild retention policy.
Customers should not rely on FastBuild as permanent archival storage after a subscription ends.
25. Billing Disputes
Customers should report suspected billing errors promptly to:
support@fastbuildapp.com
Please include sufficient transaction information to allow us to investigate without sending unnecessary sensitive financial information.
26. Marketing Communications
Purchasing a subscription does not require a customer to consent to unrelated marketing communications except where permitted by law.
Service, billing, security, and account messages necessary to administer the subscription may still be sent.
27. Changes to Subscription Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms prospectively.
A material change affecting an active paid subscription will take effect according to applicable law and any required notice.
Changes will not retroactively create additional charges for billing periods already paid.
28. Governing Terms
These Subscription Terms must be read together with:
- the FastBuild Terms of Service;
- the FastBuild Privacy Policy;
- applicable checkout disclosures;
- applicable enterprise agreements.
